About fractional co2 laser
Fractional CO2 laser is one of the most intensive skin resurfacing treatments available without surgery. The laser delivers energy in a grid of microscopic beams, each creating a tiny channel in the skin while the surrounding tissue is left intact. This triggers the skin's healing response and stimulates new collagen and elastin in the deeper layers.
It is used for fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, surgical and injury scars, sun damage, pigmentation, enlarged pores and uneven texture. Because it works more deeply than microneedling or a chemical peel, it can address concerns those treatments cannot, but it also involves more downtime.
A numbing cream is applied before treatment. Afterwards, expect redness, swelling and mild peeling for several days, with most people returning to normal activities within five to seven days. Strict sun protection is essential while the skin heals.
Initial improvement is visible within one to two weeks once the skin has healed, and results continue to develop over the following weeks and months as collagen rebuilds. Some concerns improve after a single session; deeper scarring may need a short course. A consultation and patch test come first, and pricing is confirmed at that point.
