About hifu facial
HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) is a non-surgical treatment designed to lift and tighten the skin. It is often chosen by people who want a firmer jawline, lifted cheeks and brows, or a softer appearance under the chin, without the downtime of surgery.
The device delivers focused ultrasound energy to precise depths beneath the surface of the skin, including the deeper structural layer that surgeons work on during a facelift. The controlled heat prompts the body to produce new collagen, which gradually firms and lifts the skin over the following weeks and months. Unlike lasers, which work from the surface inwards, HIFU reaches these deeper layers while leaving the outer skin untouched.
Sessions last between 90 minutes and two hours, depending on whether you are treating the full face, the face and neck, or the face, neck and décolletage. You may feel brief warmth or tingling as the energy is delivered. Mild redness or tenderness afterwards is normal and settles quickly, and most people go straight back to their day.
Some tightening can be noticed straight away, but the main result develops over two to three months as collagen builds. For most people a single session is recommended, with a repeat after twelve to eighteen months if desired.
