V-Carbon Peel

The V-Carbon Peel, also called a carbon laser facial or Hollywood peel, is a deep-cleansing treatment for dull, oily or congested skin. It combines a medical-grade laser with a layer of activated carbon to refresh the complexion.

A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the face, where it binds to dirt, excess oil and dead skin cells in the pores. The laser is then passed over the skin, where it heats and vaporises the carbon particles, lifting away the impurities bound to them. At the same time, the controlled heat gently exfoliates the surface and encourages collagen production in the layers beneath.

The treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes. Most people find it comfortable, feeling mild warmth and a light tingling or snapping sensation. Mild redness afterwards settles within a few hours, and you can go straight back to your normal activities. Aftercare advice is provided.

Many clients see brighter, smoother skin immediately. For concerns such as enlarged pores, blackheads, uneven tone or blemish-prone skin, a course of three sessions spaced a few weeks apart is recommended, and results can be prolonged with maintenance treatments and good skincare.
