About iv nutrient therapy
IV nutrient therapy delivers a blend of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and amino acids directly into the bloodstream through a drip. Because it bypasses the digestive system, nutrients are available to the body straight away rather than being absorbed gradually from a tablet.
Every infusion at Clinic C is administered by Dr Shafaq Mahmood, MBBS, MRCP (UK), an acute medical physician. Before your first drip you will have a £25 consultation with Dr Mahmood to go through your medical history, your goals and which infusion is appropriate for you. IV therapy is not suitable for everyone, and this consultation is where that is assessed.
You can choose from a small menu of infusions. The Wellness Myers is a classic blend of B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc and selenium designed to support general wellbeing. The Mega Vitaliser combines B vitamins with amino acids such as taurine, lysine, arginine, carnosine and glycine, and is popular with people who train hard or have demanding schedules. Glutathione is an antioxidant infusion. A Vitamin C Plus infusion, a blend of vitamin C, zinc, selenium, glutathione and amino acids, is currently out of stock.
A typical session takes 30 to 60 minutes. You can relax, read or work while the drip runs, and carry on with your day afterwards. Many clients report feeling more energised and better hydrated in the days after a treatment.

Common questions
When it is given by a trained, qualified medical professional after a thorough consultation, IV therapy is generally well tolerated. At Clinic C every infusion is administered by a doctor, and your medical history is reviewed first so we can confirm it is appropriate for you.
