About alumiermd peels
AlumierMD peels are medical-grade chemical peels, available only through trained clinics. Each peel has its own blend of acids and brightening ingredients, which lets your practitioner choose and layer the right one for your skin, whether your main concern is acne and congestion, pigmentation and sun damage, or fine lines and texture.
A chemical peel works by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells, which encourages the skin to renew itself. A typical AlumierMD session combines an exfoliating peel, a brightening step and targeted serums, and takes from 25 minutes.
We offer four peels. The Glow Peel is a two-layer resurfacing peel for brightness and texture. The Clarifying peel is designed for oily, congested and blemish-prone skin. Radiant 20/10 and Radiant 30 are lactic and salicylic acid peels at different strengths, chosen according to your skin type and goals.
Peels are minimally invasive. You may notice mild redness and some light flaking for a few days as the skin renews. Most people find their skin looks brighter and smoother after about seven days. For concerns such as pigmentation or acne, a course of peels combined with AlumierMD home care gives the best results, and we will plan this with you at consultation.
What it's good for
Common questions
A peel applies a controlled blend of acids to the skin to remove the outer layer of dead cells and prompt the skin to renew itself. The result is usually brighter, smoother, more even-looking skin.
